Layout

New Helsinki Metro includes seven stations, five of which are underground and two of which are on the surface. Currently three stations are finished and the next four are still under planning. The line begins underground from Grassfield Bay, which is the current real-life end station and continues toward the Central Railway Station, which is a metro station located underneath the (imaginary) main railway network, just as in real-life. The next stop is University of Helsinki, naturally named after the University area that's near the station. The line then continues underground to Flamewood Island station, from there to Heart Cape and finally comes on the surface before Hedgehog Avenue. From there on, it runs on the surface until Windmill Stream, where the line ends. After the last station the line branches to Flarefield Metro Depot.

Near-future

- Three new underground stations are on the planning stage and are soon ready to be constructed: Central Railway Station, Grassfield Bay and University of Helsinki.

Far-future

- The second surface station, Windmill Stream, will be planned and constructed.
- Two new surface modules, Road Bridge and X-Crossing will be planned and made to make up for a minimum distance between the two overground stations. The idea is to then expand whenever possible to have a longer and more prototypical distance between the stations.
- The Flarefield Metro Depot will be constructed as well as the transition module from underground to the surface. This module will also include a small tramway-diorama.
